Attention Prospective & Incoming Students
Prospective and incoming students who are interested in bringing in courses or credit from examination (e.g., AP Exams) to UC Riverside should refer to the Undergraduate Admissions website.
Current UCR Students
Many courses carry transferable units toward your degree, but not all courses are approved to meet your specific degree requirements. Follow these steps before you enroll outside of UCR.
-
Step 1: Meet with your Advisor
Confirm that you have all necessary approvals for coursework completed elsewhere and ensure it will apply to your degree requirements.
-
Step 2: Get Approval Before Enrolling
Get approval from your college office BEFORE enrolling any any institution. This step is not required for summer terms, but is still recommended.
-
Step 3: Submit Transcripts
After completing the course, send your transcripts with final grades as soon as possible to Undergraduate Admissions. The Transfer Credit and Articulation Services department evaluates and posts the credit within 15 days of receipt.
Transferability & Articulation
In partnership with your academic advisor, use the links below to look up courses that are already approved to meet certain degree requirements.
Can't find the course you're looking for? You can also request an articulation review to have a course approved.
